Privacy Policy

This page names every third party this build can load, the storage each one uses, how long it keeps it, and how to turn it off.

From my notes. I matched this text to the scripts in this repository on 23 October 2026. Cookie descriptions below are vendor documentation, not a claim that every cookie was observed in this audit. The loader creates Clarity and both Adsterra units after the page starts, and Google Analytics 4 is the tag in the document head. No other ad network or banner SDK is installed.

Who is responsible

codghost.net is an independent guide to Call of Duty: Ghosts. The site operator is the data controller and can be reached at [email protected]. There is no account system and no newsletter; the only personal data you send us is what you write in an email.
The production configuration uses Cloudflare for DNS and delivery. Hosting and security providers process IP addresses and request metadata to deliver pages and filter attacks under their terms. This static build does not configure a server-log retention period.

What loads on the first page view

Google Analytics 4 measures page views and events. The tag uses measurement ID G-PVL599E5J5 and loads gtag.js from googletagmanager.com; reports are read in our own GA4 property. It loads by default, before you touch the banner.
Microsoft Clarity collects session replay and heatmap data for project z290x5gtux. The loader requests www.clarity.ms and scripts.clarity.ms on the first page view; collection may use regional *.clarity.ms hosts, and Microsoft documents c.bing.com for its cookies. Form fields and other sensitive content are masked by Clarity's default settings. It loads by default.
Adsterra supplies two placements: Native Banner NativeBanner_1 (unit 31884043) and Social Bar SocialBar_1 (unit 31884044), both under publisher 3403020. The loader creates their scripts from bicea.org on the first page view. Adult ads are disabled in the Adsterra panel. Both units load by default.
YouTube is click-to-load. No YouTube request is made until you press Play on a trailer; the player then uses youtube-nocookie.com. No other advertising network, popunder, smartlink, traffic-mesh banner or social embed is installed.

Default on, and how to reject

When you first arrive, these tools start with the page and the banner explains them. There is no accept gate. Reject reloads the page, disables GA4 measurement and prevents Clarity and Adsterra loaders from running. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track apply the same opt-out. The choice is stored for 180 days. The Google tag library may still be downloaded after Reject, but measurement is disabled before its config call.
Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner. Accept turns the tools back on; Reject turns them off again. The Social Bar also has a Hide ad bar control whose closed state is remembered separately.

Cookies and localStorage

cg.consent (localStorage, 180 days) stores granted or denied plus an expiry timestamp. It is the only first-party record of your choice.
cg.socialbar.closed (localStorage, 180 days) is written when you press Hide ad bar, so the Social Bar does not return on the next page view.
Google Analytics 4 can set _ga and _ga_<container> to distinguish visitors; Google documents a default lifetime of two years. The tag is delivered from www.googletagmanager.com and measurement requests use Google Analytics collection hosts such as www.google-analytics.com.
Microsoft Clarity sets _clck for up to 12 months and _clsk for up to 1 day on this site, and its loader can set CLID (12 months) on clarity.ms plus MUID (13 months) where a Microsoft identity is present.
Adsterra and its demand partners set cookies under bicea.org and the creative domains they load. Their names and lifetimes depend on the creative and partner; this build cannot promise a single expiry for them. They may cover frequency capping, fraud prevention and ad selection. See Adsterra’s linked privacy policy for partner processing.
After you press Play, the youtube-nocookie.com player may request media from googlevideo.com and images from ytimg.com. YouTube and Google determine any player storage and its lifetime; privacy-enhanced embedding is not a promise of zero data collection.
These vendors start on the first page view unless your browser signals Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, or you have a valid saved Reject choice. The banner explains that behavior; it is not an accept-before-load gate. This page describes the implemented behavior and does not claim that default-on tracking satisfies prior-consent requirements in every jurisdiction.
Vendor-held analytics, replay and advertising data follow each provider’s retention settings and privacy policy; the exact account retention settings were not inspected in this static-build review. Email you send is used to answer your request. Reject stops future optional loaders and measurement, but does not retroactively erase data already transmitted or all third-party cookies.

Your choices, access and opt-outs

Use Reject or Cookie settings on this site to stop all three. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are honoured the same way.
Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google ad settings: adssettings.google.com.
Industry opt-outs for personalised advertising: DAA, NAI and EDAA. Adsterra's own policy is at adsterra.com/privacy-policy.
You can ask for access, correction or deletion of email you sent, and object to processing, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Questions

Do you use cookies?

Yes. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra can set the cookies listed above, including analytics cookies on this site's domain. Our own preference records are cg.consent and cg.socialbar.closed in localStorage.

Can I turn the ads and tracking off?

Yes. Press Reject in the banner, or open Cookie settings in the footer later. That stops GA4, Clarity and both Adsterra units for 180 days. GPC and DNT do the same.

Are my form inputs recorded by Clarity?

Clarity masks form fields and other sensitive content by default. We do not add custom tags that would capture them.
