Call of Duty: Ghosts ending explained
The short answer is under the spoiler control. Rorke survives. Logan is not killed on screen.

From my notes. I waited to write this until the Wikipedia plot ending and the Fandom notes on Rorke agreed on the same three beats: Elias dies in Las Vegas, Logan shoots Rorke later and does not kill him, and the stinger shows Logan held in a pit. I am not adding a secret ending. None of the sources describe one.
What happens
In Las Vegas, Rorke captures Elias, Hesh and Logan and forces the brothers into a choice that ends with Elias dead. Rorke kills Elias himself after that scene.
In the final fight Logan shoots Rorke. It looks fatal. It is not. Rorke survives, overpowers Logan and drags him away. The plan he states is to break Logan the way he was broken. After the credits, Logan is shown held in a jungle pit.
What this does not mean
There is no announced Ghosts 2 that continues the pit scene. Treating the cliffhanger as a promise is how the rumor page gets misread. The status of a sequel is on the Ghosts 2 tracker, and it is not confirmed.
"Rorke had some good points" is a community joke about his speeches. It is not a lore conclusion.
Questions
Does Rorke die?
No. He is shot and survives, then takes Logan.
Does Logan die?
Not on screen. The last image is Logan alive and captive.
Is there an alternate ending?
I found no official alternate ending in the sources checked on 23 October 2026.
