CROSSHAIR

How to remove the crosshair

There is no documented in-game crosshair-off setting in the sources checked. A PC community workaround is anecdotal, not an official or supported option.

From my notes. The Steam discussion describes changing a crosshair value in the multiplayer config but does not name the setting key. I cannot responsibly turn that vague account into a config instruction. I also found no authoritative evidence for a Bulldog-specific crosshair defect, so I am not attributing one to that weapon. For supported troubleshooting, use Activision's Ghosts support hub and its contact/help options.

What the PC workaround actually says

A 2013 Steam Community post says its author changed an unnamed crosshair setting from 1 to 0 in the multiplayer config. It supplies no key name and is not an Activision instruction. Because the setting cannot be identified from the post, this guide does not tell you to add an invented key or edit a guessed line.
The source material does not establish a Bulldog-specific bug, its trigger, or a fix. If your crosshair behaves unexpectedly, record the platform, mode and steps, then report it through Activision's Call of Duty: Ghosts support hub or its support options. Do not install an unverified HUD mod for online play.

Questions

Can I turn the crosshair off on a console?

No official in-game crosshair-off toggle is documented in the sources checked. For a supported answer, ask through Activision's Ghosts support hub; console players cannot use the PC config anecdote.

Does the Bulldog have a confirmed crosshair bug?

I could not verify a reliable source confirming a Bulldog-specific crosshair bug, so I cannot attribute the behavior to that weapon.

Where is the config discussion?

The Steam Community discussion only mentions an unnamed config value. For official help, use Activision support for Ghosts. PCGamingWiki's Ghosts technical reference is another PC reference; its page could not be fetched directly during this check.
