Built-in suppressor, two selected attachment slots by default. To select Foregrip, Extended Mags and a sight together, equip Extra Attachment (3 perk points).
From my notes.Recorded weapon figures below are attributed to the Call of Duty Wiki and have not been remeasured here: 42–20 damage, 800 RPM, 30 rounds (45 with Extended Mags). The setups are editorial, not a fresh TTK or recoil test.
Attachment slots and the suppressor
The Honey Badger’s suppressor is built in: it is permanent, occupies no selectable attachment slot, and leaves no barrel attachment choice. Without Extra Attachment, choose at most two selected attachments. Foregrip + Extended Mags is legal.
Foregrip + Extended Mags + Red Dot Sight is three selected attachments, so add Extra Attachment (3 perk points). Do not count the suppressor as the third selectable slot. IGN’s weapon guide explicitly notes the gun can equip three attachments, four with Extra Attachment; its “built-in silencer” is the additional integral feature.
Legal Core 6v6 examples
Standard eight-point setup: Honey Badger — Foregrip + Extended Mags; P226; Frag; Concussion. Stalker (3) + Quickdraw (3) + Scavenger (2) = 8. All four item slots remain occupied.
Three-selected-attachment option: Honey Badger — Foregrip + Extended Mags + Red Dot Sight; P226; Frag; Concussion. Extra Attachment (3) + Stalker (3) + Scavenger (2) = 8. It is exactly legal with no omitted slots; Quickdraw is removed to pay for the third attachment.
Alternative, not a default claim: Extra Attachment (3) + Stalker (3) + Focus (2) = 8. This keeps the third attachment but trades Scavenger for flinch reduction. Neither setup is presented as empirically superior.
Documented gun facts and mode boundary
The research capture attributes the 42–20 damage, 800 RPM, 30-round magazine, and 45-round extended magazine to the community Call of Duty Wiki. IGN describes the weapon as having an integrated silencer and states the selected-slot rule above. Treat figures as attributed reference values, not current in-game calibration.
The research notes say the Honey Badger cost $2,000 in regular Extinction maps and, after Nemesis, appears in Chaos mode on Point of Contact and Mayday with a 35-round magazine (Call of Duty Wiki). That is distinct from this 6v6 attachment advice; verify availability and DLC before planning around it.
