Does Call of Duty: Ghosts have Zombies?

No. If the search was for round-based Zombies, this is the wrong game. Extinction is the mode that replaced that expectation.

From my notes. I typed the three queries people actually use — cod ghost zombies, cod zombies ghost, call of duty ghost zombies — and every one of them is asking this. The official Ghosts page describes a new four-player co-op mode. Wikipedia calls it a spiritual successor. I am using both sentences so nobody thinks I am hiding the resemblance.

What is similar

Four players, waves of enemies, weapons you buy during the match, and side challenges. That is why the searches collide.
What is different: Cryptids instead of zombies, a class you pick before the match, Teeth that persist, relics that make the match harder, bosses on the DLC maps, and an objective with an exit. It is not an endless round counter.

Where to go instead

Stay here for Extinction: the hub, classes and Venom-X.
For round-based Zombies in that era, Black Ops II is the Treyarch game. This site does not host copies of either game.

Questions

So there are no zombies at all?

No Zombies mode. The enemy faction in the co-op mode is the Cryptids.

Is Extinction just Zombies with a new name?

No. Classes, Teeth, relics and a finite objective are the mechanical differences.

Which map should I start on?

Point of Contact, the base-game map, after you finish Ghost Stories.
